We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Tech Artist to join our team. As a Tech Artist, you will act as a bridge between our art and programming teams, helping to ensure that our visuals are not only stunning but also performant and technically optimized. You will play a key role in developing new tools, solving pipeline challenges, and ensuring that our game runs smoothly across multiple platforms. Your expertise will help push the visual quality of Phasmophobia while maintaining efficient workflows.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with artists, designers, and programmers to create and maintain efficient, scalable art pipelines.
Optimize art assets and scenes to ensure the best performance on PC, VR, PSVR2, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Develop tools to improve workflows and automate repetitive tasks within Unity.
Investigate, identify, and solve visual and technical issues during development.
Support the art team with shader creation, material setup, lighting, and VFX integration.
Ensure that assets meet both artistic and technical standards and work seamlessly within Unity.
Stay up to date with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in real-time graphics and optimization.
Participate in regular team meetings, providing technical insights and support to improve the game's visual quality and performance.
Requirements:
Professional experience as a Senior Tech Artist or similar role, on a shipped Unity title.
Strong experience with Unity, including working with prefabs, lighting, shaders, materials, and asset optimization.
Solid understanding of performance profiling and optimization for multi-platform games.
Excellent programming skills in C#
Familiarity with 3D asset creation workflows (knowledge of tools like Blender, Maya, Substance or similar).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical processes to non- technical team members.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for horror games.
Knowledge and experience playing Phasmophobia.
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Nice To Have
Experience developing for VR and console platforms (especially PSVR2).
Knowledge of shader languages such as HLSL or Shader Graph.
Experience with VFX tools and techniques.
Interest or background in real-time lighting and rendering pipelines.
Experience with version control systems such as Git, Perforce and Plastic.

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Technical Animator to join our team. As a Senior Technical Animator, you will play a crucial role in bringing characters, creatures, and environmental elements to life with high-quality, efficient animation systems. You will work closely with artists, designers and programmers to develop robust rigs, create fluid animation workflows, and implement animations directly into Unity. Your technical expertise will ensure that our animations look great, feel responsive, and perform well across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
Design, create, and maintain complex character, creature, camera and object rigs that are efficient, flexible, and easy to use.
Implement and maintain animation systems and state machines within Unity, ensuring smooth and polished in-game animations.
Develop tools to streamline animation pipelines and workflows.
Work closely with artists and programmers to troubleshoot rigging, skinning, and implementation challenges.
Collaborate with the programming team to define and improve the animation pipeline and runtime animation systems.
Optimize animations for performance across PC, VR, PSVR2, and consoles.
Ensure that animations meet technical standards for gameplay responsiveness and visual fidelity.
Requirements:
Professional experience as a Technical Animator or similar role on at least one shipped Unity title.
Expertise with rigging, skinning, and creating animation control systems in a 3D software package (e.g., Blender, Maya).
Strong experience implementing animation systems within Unity, including Animator Controllers, State Machines, and Blend Trees.
Proficient in C# and tool development.
Solid understanding of real-time animation principles, constraints, IK systems, and retargeting techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills, especially when balancing visual quality with performance.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for horror games.
Knowledge and experience playing Phasmophobia.
Eligibility to work in the UK.

Experience with VR animation challenges (especially for hand and body tracking).
Knowledge of motion matching, procedural animation, or physics-based animation systems.
Experience with Unity DOTS or animation optimization techniques.
Familiarity with facial animation and lip-sync pipelines.

We're looking for a Head of Operations to help us run a sustainable, high-functioning studio. This role is all about creating the conditions for creativity - ensuring our people, tools, and systems are all working in sync.
You’ll work directly with the CEO and collaborate closely with our HR Manager, Financial Lead, development department heads, and external partners. Whether it’s supporting studio strategy, overseeing vendor contracts, refining onboarding, or managing facilities; you’ll be at the operational heart of Kinetic Games.
If you're someone who loves to solve problems, optimise systems, and bring structure to fastmoving environments, this is a chance to shape how a successful studio scales.
Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day studio operations and facilities (including our newly refurbished office).
Collaborate with leadership to uphold our studio vision, mission, and values.
Maintaining operational efficiency across departments.
Collaborating on recruitment, staff wellbeing and onboarding alongside HR.
Own relationships with third-party providers (Legal, Insurance, IT, etc.).
Ensuring the team have the equipment, tools, and environment they need.
Manage contracts, vendor relationships, and compliance requirements.
Support budgeting, planning, and reporting with our Financial Lead and CEO.
Contribute to long-term strategy and scaling plans, policy development, and team culture initiatives.
Organise and lead company team events
Requirements:
Experience leading operations in a hybrid game studio (ideally 20–100 people).
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Great communication; able to work across departments with clarity and empathy.
Comfortable working with budgets, policies, and business operations tools.
Strong understanding of how games are made and the people behind them.
Able to present operational plans and ideas clearly to leadership teams.
