What Are Twitch Drops?

Twitch Drops are in-game items earned by spending time watching your favourite streamers on Twitch for a set amount of time. In Phasmophobia, these rewards will start off as special ID cards and badges, but with future updates, we plan to offer cosmetics and other in-game items.

Setting Up Your Account

You’ll need to connect your Twitch account in order to claim any Twitch Drops being offered by a creator who is streaming Phasmophobia. To get this done, here are the steps:

START PHASMOPHOBIA

The first step is to open Phasmophobia on the platform you are playing on and wish to connect to Twitch.

MAIN MENU

Once loaded in to the game, head to the Main Menu and locate the Twitch Drops icon.*

CONNECT

Click the Twitch Drops icon from the Main Menu and click ‘Connect’ on the pop-up that has appeared on screen.

After a few seconds, this will display a code in the box. You can either copy this to your clipboard, or reveal the code with the icon on the right.

ACTIVATE ON TWITCH

With your code now in hand, head to twitch.tv/activate and enter the code from Phasmophobia in to the text box displayed on screen.

APPROVE THE CONNECTION

‘Submit’ your code and you’ll be asked to approve your connection. Authorise this in order to continue the process.

YOU’RE SET

With that, return to Phasmophobia and you’ll see ‘Connection Good!’ has appeared on the pop-up, if the connection has been successful.

*Note: If a red ! is seen on the icon, this indicates there is an issue with the connection between Phasmophobia and your Twitch account, or you may have yet to successfully connect

Where To Watch

Twitch Drops for Phasmophobia will be available via various different channels, including Kinetic Games’ own Twitch channel.

Official Kinetic Games Partners

Members of the official Kinetic Games Partner Program will have limited time Drops and will have first access to all Drop campaigns.

Kinetic Games

Watching along with official Kinetic Games streams will earn exclusive Drop items and be the first place to find out about upcoming Drops. (Streams starting in late 2025)

Community Streamers

Any creator streaming Phasmophobia will have the ability to sign up to Twitch Drop campaigns run by Kinetic. Keep an eye out for news on campaigns!

FAQs

  • Each time we announce a new Twitch Drops campaign, we’ll let you know via our blog where to find them.

    On Twitch however, you’ll see a pop-up when you join a LIVE channel that details the Drop and how to earn it.

  • If you are experiencing any issues with Phasmophobia’s Twitch Drops and the connection to your Twitch account, log-in to Twitch and follow the below steps;

    • Log in and go to Settings via the drop down menu by clicking your icon.

    • Navigate to ‘Connections’.

    • Locate the connection labeled ‘Kinetic Games’.

    • Disconnect.

    • Reconnect your account by following the steps detailed in the ‘Setting Up Your Account’ section above.

  • Once you have completed the requirements for earning the active Twitch Drop rewards, Phasmophobia will auto-claim these in-game. The next time you log-in to the game, you will be greeted with a pop-up that details your Drop.

  • Keep an eye on the official Phasmophobia social channels, as well as here on our Kinetic Games blog.

  • Initially, Phasmophobia players will be able to earn exclusive ID Cards and Badges in-game. With future updates, such as our Player Customisation update, we’ll look to offer other in-game items such as player cosmetics.
